NEW TRACK: Womb - "Good"

Womb’s “Good” starts off smooth and safe, erred in the side of ballady midtempo romp that brings to mind everything  exciting about ‘90s pop radio, you know—that touch of Lilith Fair folk-pop that made a star out of Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole and Jewel combined with the triphop beats of Tricky and Massive Attack. As soon as it progresses, “Good” draws some sparkling electronic sounds and beat shuffles into mid air. The ephemeral elastic thing that is Charisse Fonacier’s voice fades in the afterglow only to reincarnate with a stronger presence, providing light and calm in the spiralling ambient storm.
